Play of the Day: Will Kim Cancel the North Korea Talks?
The summit may be postponed or axed.
The Senate Judiciary Committee released thousands of pages of testimony from Donald Trump Jr. on Wednesday concerning the 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian pop singer, an oligarch and an attorney. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying President Donald Trump didn't read the transcripts because "You lost me at 2,000 pages."
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un says he may not speak to Trump in June, potentially pulling out of the planned summit to take place in Singapore. Fallon joked about the news, comparing it to the U.S. pulling out of the Iran deal. North Korea news services quoted National Security Advisor John Bolton saying the "Libya model" could be followed in denuclearizing North Korea, which some say is why North Korea is threatening to pull out of the talks. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah and The Opposition's Trevor Noah joked about the news, noting that Kim probably doesn't want to end up killed by his own people on the side of the road like Libya's Muammar Gaddafi.
