Play of the Day: American's New Feud With Canada
The G7 meeting did not go as well as expected.
President Donald Trump met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on Tuesday morning in Singapore. According to reports, Kim brought his own toilet to guard against foreign intelligence agencies learning about his health. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the reports, saying the intelligence agencies said "We're just going to guess 'bad'" about Kim's health if he's hiding it that way.
Trump was in Quebec over the weekend for the G7 conference and ended the meeting by tweeting derisively about Canadian milk import tariffs and starting a feud with America's northern neighbors. Meyers joked that feuding with Canada is like getting angry at a golden retriever, while The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked that Canada is "the Ned Flanders of countries." Jimmy Kimmel joked about the dairy angle, noting that Canada isn't going to "churn us to death" and The Opposition's Jordan Klepper noted that Trump isn't bullying Canada, but he's really just "pushing around a smaller, weaker kid and literally taking his milk money."
