Play of the Day: Where Can Kirstjen Nielsen Eat In Peace?
Mexican is out. So is Carl's Jr. Probably Hooters, too.
A man in South Carolina photographed a cloud this week that looked quite a bit like President Donald Trump. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the cloud, saying Trump might now call in the Space Force.
Hours after she said in a press conference the government does not have a policy to separate families at the Mexican border, Homeland Security chief Kirstjen Nielsen was harassed at a Mexican restaurant by DSA activists in D.C. to the point of her leaving. Jimmy Kimmel noted that Nielsen going to a Mexican restaurant was a bold move, saying she probably thought "after a long day of traumatizing children, there's nothing I like more than enjoying their native cuisine." Full Frontal's Samantha Bee joked that the dinner was definitely not an online date, while The Daily Show's Trevor Noah noted that Mexican was bold, but wondered if any places would be good for Nielsen in light of the since-rescinded family separation policy. Carl's Jr. won't work because it implies a separate Carl Sr. and even Hooters invokes breastfeeding.
