Play of the Day: Robert Mueller Has Some Questions About The President's Tweets
The special counsel's investigation is looking toward Donald Trump's social media.
President Donald Trump traveled to Iowa on Thursday to speak to farmers about his farm subsidy plan released this week. While there, he held a 3D printed version of the White House, prompting Late Show's Stephen Colbert to joke that he then screamed "Oh no! What have you done to my house?"
According to reports, special counsel Robert Mueller’s staff is looking for clues toward any obstruction of justice in Trump's ample tweets since he took office in 2017. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying "the next time you complain about your job, think about the guy who has to read 40,000 Trump tweets." Colbert also joked that Mueller's team has questions, just like we all do. Questions like "What's with all the dot dots?" and "How do you decide what to capitalize?"
