Play of the Day: The President Wants To Fire All The Dogs
Donald Trump compared his former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman to a canine.
President Donald Trump came off his vacation at his golf club in New Jersey earlier this week and arrived back at the White House. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying Trump said he would be happy to tweet form his own bed again.
Former Apprentice star and White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman's book, Unhinged, was released this week and Trump went on a Twitter offensive to refute her claims. In one tweet, he praised Chief of Staff John Kelly for "quickly firing that dog!" Late-night hosts joked about Trump's use of the term "dog" to describe Manigault Newman. Jimmy Kimmel showed photos of Trump holding dogs, including joking that Trump goes to the same groomer as one. Fallon joked that White House staff sympathize with dogs because each year working there is like seven years, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert showed all the times Trump tweeted about dogs being fired and joked about being afraid of being "impooched."
