Play of the Day: The President Is Ready For Florence
He's made a video asking residents to evacuate and says the response will be as good as the Maria response.
According to a former longtime executive with the Trump Organization said that President Donald Trump wanted to get ride of braille on the Trump Tower elevators because "No blind people are going to live in Trump Tower." Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about Trump's gilded living space, saying that he thought the apartments "were designed specifically to appeal to blind people."
With Hurricane Florence set to hit the United States soon, Trump tweeted about the government's response to Hurricane Maria that left thousands dead in Puerto Rico, giving the government an A+ and saying Puerto Rico "an inaccessible island." Meyers joked that the island is perfectly accessible, considering JetBlue flies there every half hour and Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Trump made Puerto Rico seem like Skull Island. Also, The White House produced a video this week with Trump telling residents in the storm's path to evacuate and touting the government's preparedness, so Jimmy Kimmel's staff modified the video to show Trump's alleged toupee falling off.
