Play of the Day: 'Horseface' and 'Tiny' Continue Their Twitter Feud
After a judge threw out Stormy Daniels' defamation case, President Trump restarted an old fight.
The Treasury Department is projecting that the fiscal 2019 U.S. deficit could reach $1 trillion dollars. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about the news, saying that this is what happens when you put a check cashing store in the U.S. Capitol.
A federal judge dismissed a defamation lawsuit brought against President Donald Trump by adult film empresario Stormy Daniels this week, saying that the language Trump used is "normal." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that the discourse is only normal because Trump made it normal and joked about Trump's rejiggering of America's alliances. Trump tweeted about the news and, in doing so, misspelled Daniels' name and called her "horseface." Late Late Show's James Corden joked about the former aspect, saying he thought Trump would know how to spell it after writing her a $130,000 check, while Jimmy Kimmel joked that "horseface" is in reference to Trump "ponying up" that big check. In response, Daniels called Trump "Tiny," prompting Kimmel to joke that such an insult could "result in a nuclear strike," while Colbert joked that John Wilkes Booth actually said "Sic semper small-penis" after shooting Abraham Lincoln.
