According to a new poll, millennial Pete Buttigieg ranks third in the 2020 race behind two septuagenarians, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying that Buttigieg's strategy is to just outlive the other to until 2020.
Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was kicked out of the Ecuadorian embassy in London this week and he has since grown a long white beard. Jimmy Kimmel joked about Assange's look, saying he resembles "Tom Hanks in Castaway," while Late Night's Seth Meyers compared him to "Santa Clause with a manifesto." Pamela Anderson tweeted in support of Assange, saying "I am in shock," prompting Kimmel to wonder how a low-level celebrity seems to hacve a cause now, from Denis Rodman on North Korea to Steven Seagal on Russia to now Anderson on Wikileaks.
