Play of the Day: More on The President's Taxes
Late-night has plenty of joked about Donald Trump losing billions of dollars.
Reid Hoffman, the billionaire founder of LinkedIn, is hosting a fundraiser for 2020 Democratic hopeful Sen. Cory Booker. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying "if you go to an event for LinkedIn and a presidential candidate, let me tell you something, your email inbox is about to explode. "
The New York Times last week reported that President Donald Trump's businesses lost over $1B between 1985 and 1994. Late Late Show's James Corden joked that we finally found something that Trump is best at, while Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost joked that Trump publishing The Art of the Deal during that period is like R. Kelly writing a babysitting book now. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about Trump's tax situation and losing money, playing video of the president calling people "loser" plenty of times and joking that Trump "always had the best words."
