President Donald Trump is heading to Florida next week to visit a retirement community and talk about health care. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, saying that Trump was really going down there to scout places to put elderly Commerce chief Wilbur Ross in his retirement.
The Democrats held their second night of debates this week on Wednesday, with 10 candidates debating in Detroit. Late Late Show's James Corden joked that 20 Democrats arguing, saying the way to get 20 Democrats in an argument is usually is "to walk into a Whole Foods and criticize Hamilton." Former Vice President Joe Biden got his signals crossed during his closing statement, telling votes to "Go to Joe 30330" when he meant to tell them to text Joe to 30330. Late-night hosts joked about the misstatement, as Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that the elderly Biden got all of his tech confused and even joked that Biden said something like "send an eVite to ScrantonJoe1942@aol.org," while Meyers joked that "Joe 30330" is either the name of Biden's rocket ship or his ATM code.
