Play of the Day: The Impeachment Inquiry Will Go Longer Than Expected
Democrats are pushing the timeline back because of evidence they are seeing in hearings.
President Donald Trump retweeted a tweet this week from an account called "@DJTrumpsButt," apparently not noticing the parody account's name. Late Late Show's James Corden joked about the news, saying "today, even worse, Bernie Sanders retweeted his enlarged prostate."
Democrats said this week that they are rethinking the schedule of the impeachment inquiry and said it may drag into December because the inquiry has uncovered more leads to pursue. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that this is a good legal strategy for the White House: do so many crimes that Congress can never finish the investigation. Corden joked about the timeline, saying the Hallmark Channel has jumped on it with a new movie: Impeachment in a Pear Tree.
