GovExec Daily: How to Communicate During a Pandemic
The Partnership for Public Service’s Samantha Donaldson joins the podcast to explain the clarity agencies need to have while communicating during the coronavirus crisis.
The weeks of pandemic isolation have changed the way most American communicate with everyone in their life. Gone are the days of in-person meetings and face-to-face contact, replaced by phone calls, messaging and video conferencing.
Internally, it is integral for agencies to communicate with employees. Externally, agencies need to get information to citizens as part of each agency's mission and citizens need information on how to best weather the coming weeks or months of the pandemic.
Samantha Donaldson, the Partnership for Public Service’s Vice President of Communications, joined the program to talk about communication clarity for agencies during the coronavirus crisis.
