Earlier this week, the Food and Drug Administration announced that it had approved expanded use of plasma to treat coronavirus patients. President Trump touted the treatment on Sunday, citing statistics given to him by FDA officials. but, as with most things surrounding the president, there have been criticisms of the fast-tracking of the plasma treatment approval and the FDA.
