Regardless of where you are in your federal career, it pays to think about and begin preparing for your eventual retirement. But navigating the process can be tricky, especially since the federal government has its own unique retirement systems and regulations.
If you have questions about planning for your life after government, next week we’ll provide an opportunity to get answers from an expert in the process. Tammy Flanagan, who has been providing retirement assistance to federal employees since 1985 and writing Government Executive’s Retirement Planning column since 2006, will be joining an online discussion, Getting Ready for Retirement.
She’ll be answering selected questions during the event, so register now, and submit your questions in advance using the comments section below (or email them to govexec@govexec.com).
