The ups and down of the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure contract has been like a roller coaster for years. In October, The Pentagon selected Microsoft in October over Amazon Web Services, which then prompted Amazon to file a legal protest, citing the politics of the decision.
Recently, the Pentagon IG released a report on the JEDI contract and found a slew of ethics violations, but also could neither deny nor verify White House interference in the contract.
