Vivek Kundra served as the first U.S. chief information officer from March, 2009 to August, 2011 under President Barack Obama. Before that, he served in D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty's cabinet as the District's Chief Technology Officer and in Virginia Governor Tim Kaine's cabinet as Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Technology. He is now the Chief Operating Officer at Sprinklr, an enterprise software company. He joined the podcast to discuss Biden’s IT priorities as president and the future of public sector cloud computing.
