Emily Schultheis is a political reporter for National Journal. Before coming to National Journal, she spent three years covering campaigns and politics at Politico. In 2013, she was one of ten American journalists selected for the Arthur F. Burns reporting fellowship in Germany; she spent two months living in Berlin and covering the German elections for Spiegel International and Politico. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Emily graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011.
