Play of the Day: Donald Trump Has an Issue With the Media
The very expressive president-elect is upset that the press runs so many unflattering photos of him.
Kris Kobach, the Kansas secretary of state and potential Homeland Security Director in the Donald Trump administration, is under some criticism for not covering his immigration plan notes during a photo op with Trump this week. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Trump's first order of business with Kobach will be to "buy this dummy a folder," while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that "the only way those plans could be safer is if he stored them on his private email server."
Trump held a meeting with top media figure this week, reportedly haranguing them for bad coverage. Colbert joked about Trump calling CNN a "bunch of liars," joking about CNN staple Parts Unknown by saying "eating noodles is not news." Colbert also referenced Trump complaining about unflattering photos of Trump, showing some very expressive photos of the president-elect.
