Play of the Day: John Brennan Will Now Need Twitter To Read Threats Against America
The former CIA chief is getting his security clearance revoked by the White House.
Former White House official and reality TV star Omarosa Manigault Newman says that she has been interviewed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying that when the attorney told Manigault Newman that the interview was being taped, she said "I'm the one recording it."
President Donald Trump revoked the security clearance of former head of the CIA John Brennan this week. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee announced that Brennan's clearance was revoked because he was "erratic" and because of his “increasingly frenzied commentary” online, prompting The Daily Show's Trevor Noah to joke that those sort of things are part of Trump's daily schedule. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Brennan losing his clearance means that he'll have to check Trump's Twitter feed will be "the only place he'll read threats against America."
